For Project three, I want people to become more involved in “Crocheting for a Cause”. In this project my target audience will be young individuals who would like to learn how to crochet or be a part of a community. Many individuals take comfort in needle work such as crocheting and knitting so I will display this message in my different genres. I would utilize genres to convey the message that many people crochet as a way to relieve stress and anxiety and to work with individuals who also love to crochet. This would be my selling point and the topic I will be centralizing all of my genres on. I will use emotions to appeal to my audience, which are stressful college students. It is important to focus on these emotions, so many people will take interest in crocheting as an activity and a hobby. To disseminate my message, I will be using three different genres. The genres I will be using are a Pinterest account, a Pinterest post, and a survey that will be on my Pinterest account. I chose to use a Pinterest account, because Pinterest is known for artwork and activities. It also contains many crochet and knitting accounts. I will create a Pinterest account for the club “Crocheting for a Cause”, and post several of their projects that they have done so far. I will also utilize the Pinterest platform to get other crochet accounts to see my account by sharing and liking their posts.
