The podcast follows individuals that participate in an experiment. These individuals had to live together for a year. The podcast also explores the dynamics of the group and the challenges they face with each other. The narrator utilizes her life experiences to reflect on the participants’ experiences within the experiment. The narrator talks about how it took her six years to move in with her partner. My including personal stories, it allows the audience to have a better understanding of the experiment. Through the inclusion of short anecdotes such as the story of the narrator and their partner, the audience is able to see that it was not easy for people to live with each other. I actually love this technique because this allows for the podcast to be relatable. The narrator also gives a short background on each of the people involved in the experiment. These backgrounds allow for the audience to have a better understanding of the individual, and what it takes to participate in these experiments. Within these backgrounds the narrator asks the individuals what they will miss. Each answer provided by the individual allows for the audience to gain more information on their background and why they wanted to participate in this.
